gather + wander.

First of all, Happy World Vegetarian Day! I hope you enjoyed lots of deliciousness wherever you are. I myself made a giant salad with zucchini, carrot, arugla, and grapes with a simple mustard apple cider vinegar dressing to celebrate. It might not sound very celebratory to some, but when all you've got is a chopping board, a mixing bowl, a chef's knife, limited fruits and vegetables, pepper, mustard and apple cider vinegar, that sure is enough.

As I've already mentioned in my previous post, some things regarding the blog will be a little bit different. First off, you've probably noticed that my header no longer says 'Owlmond Butter; raw, vegan + organic,' but rather it says 'gather + wander.' Fret not, because a lot of what I'll still be posting about revolves around raw, wholesome, vegan food.

The difference lies in the fact that you'll be seeing other aspects of what interests me in life- design and travel. That especially applies to the latter, for as you might know, I have just literally moved to the other side of the world. Germany, to be precise. I'll be spending a couple of months here as an exchange student, and it would be such a shame to not be able to share such a wonderful life changing experience with you.

To be honest I haven't fully settled in yet- I'm still in need of a bike, an extended residence permit, a bank card, a yoga mat... The list goes on and on. It may take a couple more days or weeks to achieve a settled state, but once I reach that point, I can't wait to get back to making, photographing, and eating wholesome goodness.

Below, I have summarised what the revamp-ed blog will be like:

gather + wander is a blog about gathering stories, inspiration and experiences, all of which are based around my undeniable love for wholesome food, design and travel. A lot of what I post are raw food recipes; some are sparked by cherished childhood memories, while some are created out of curiosity and experimentation. As a natural wanderer, I also aim to travel the world, and it is here where I choose to document my adventures.

So, what do you think? Please do let me know your honest thoughts! For now, I must say Auf Wiedersehen, for I still have my six-hour intensive German language class tomorrow.
